The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
